NHS Sector-based work academy health care assistant opportunities with Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

If you are unemployed, aged 19+ and would like a career in the NHS our 12-week training programme could help fulfil your ambitions.

The course provides a plethora of level 1 and level 2 accredited qualifications, a placement at Blackpool Victoria Hospital and a guaranteed interview.  The next course starts on Monday 21st February 2022 and will run 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday from 10am -2:30pm and there is an option to do Maths/English to enhance your prospects working in health.  If you are interested, please email helen.cook@blackpool.ac.uk to express your interest.  You will be contacted for an informal discussion and allocated a day to come in to complete your enrolment form at the health and social care career academy.

Worker career opportunities at The Harbour with Lancashire and
South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.

If you are unemployed and aged 24 years + (24 by 31/08/21) you may want to do our 12 week programme to train to work as a mental health care support worker.

The course provides a range of level 1 accredited qualifications in mental health and includes a placement at The Habour with an interview. This is not a guarantee, but is dependent on your performance and commitment to the programme. The interview would be for a full time apprenticeship position 37.5 hours which is shift work (days, nights, weekends, bank holidays).
The course is Tuesday – Thursday (3 days per week) from 10am - 2:30pm with an option to do maths/English each Monday to enhance career prospects working at the Mental Health Unit.
